Every testimony has a test

 A Greek philosopher once said ,”If a man is to truly be wise, he must at some point question all things.” Well, I guess wisdom was looking for me because there I was; the pains of life had me questioning everything. Since I was a child, I was told I was supposed to know how to act, that I knew better than that, and I was supposed to know “by now.” Somehow, life kept making me feel ashamed for not knowing. So pride made me too uncomfortable to admit that I “just didn’t know.”

 There was no blueprint on how to be a husband, and there were no guidelines on how to be an effective father and still pursue your passions and desires. Yet, my age and my position in life told me that “I should know.” It took two years of tremendous pain for me to realize that God has answers for it all. Sometimes “faking it until you make it can catch up with you.” If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of church, being a pastor, pursuing a dream and maintaining a family,
